Thousand Trails Carolina Landing

Pack your pantry before you arrive — there is essentially zero dining nearby (the closest thing is a Dollar Store about 15-20 minutes away). But if you come prepared, the amenities deliver! The hookups are great, the putt putt course was a total hit with the kids, and the basketball court is seriously impressive — well-lit and ready for a late-night shootout. Laundry is plentiful too. Fair warning though: the access roads are steep with tight turns into narrow sites, so this one is best suited for seasoned campers who know their rig. We watched a few neighbors have a tough time leveling and unhitching on the slopes — one late-night arrival even had us outside moving picnic tables and flipping on our docking lights to help them in. It's a solid Thousand Trails stop, but privacy and site size definitely leave room for improvement. Experienced campers will appreciate it; newbies may want to work up to this one!
