Camp Margaritaville Auburndale

No one will disagree — Camp Margaritaville Auburndale is by far one of the most fun family campgrounds anywhere in the country. Full stop. 🌴 The tropical setting is absolutely pristine, but it's the ENERGY of this place that sets it apart. Camp counselors keep the kids entertained all day (and night!), renting a golf cart or scooter makes cruising the resort a total blast, and the activities list is almost too long to believe: two separate pools, a water slide, included Parrot Island mini golf on a beautifully landscaped course, fire pits, gaga ball, weekend parties and events in the kids club, cotton candy machines... it just never stops. For the adults — even the non-drinkers — the giant tiki bar is THE gathering spot. I don't drink but the skilled bartenders crafted me up some incredible fruity mocktails loaded with fresh fruit and little umbrellas while we all sat through bingo. The music and energy around the main stage area is genuinely electric. Every site is nice, but if you can swing it, splurge for a premium or tiki site — the landscaping, the patios, and the access to the action make it absolutely worth it. The water tower painted with "Home Is Where You Park It" pretty much says it all. There is nothing we don't love about coming here. 5 stars, no question. 🦜
