Diamond Cattle Company is a beautiful, peaceful stop that's just minutes off the highway while still feeling like you're out in the country. Be sure to follow the campground's recommended route when arriving, as it's the easiest and safest way to access the property. The views are stunning, and there's plenty to explore. We especially enjoyed the beautiful horse stables and the historic buildings that have been carefully relocated to the property, giving it so much character and charm. If storms are in the forecast, keep an eye on the weather, as the area can see fast-moving storms. Otherwise, it's a quiet and relaxing place to unwind and enjoy the scenery. Overall, this is a unique stop with welcoming hosts, beautiful surroundings, and a great mix of history and country living. We'd definitely stay here again.
