Very dusty, but an unbeatable location for visiting the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The non-power sites are first-come, first-served and the primitive sites run just $6/night. It's a longer drive to get settled in, but the proximity to Hebgen Lake and the park gate makes it worth it for an adventuring family.
USA BMX-sanctioned track at 620 N 5th Ave in Bozeman (Est. 1981 — 'Where Nobody Rides the Bench'). Race registration Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30-6:30. It's a longer ~1.5-hour drive north from the campground, but a great ride for any BMX family passing through the Gallatin Valley.
